Gold Vermeil

Not to be confused with regular gold plating, our vermeil (pronounced ver-may) is a thick layer of 18k solid gold on sterling silver. It lasts longer than regular gold plating and provides the look and feel of gold jewelry at a fraction of the price.

What to Know

Vermeil will naturally tarnish over time, especially when exposed to environmental factors like air pollution, moisture, and items that contain sulfur, however it is easy to restore the shine of gold vermeil jewelry with proper care and maintenance.

How to Store

Store in a safe, dry place—such as an anti-tarnish pouch or case—with the anti-tarnish strip that came with your purchase. This will help to protect your pieces when they are not being worn.

All of our Jewelry Cases have an anti-tarnish microsuede lining for ease of care.

How to Clean Your Jewelry

• Proactive maintenance is the easiest way to care for your jewelry.
• To clean with the polishing cloth, gently buff the entire jewelry piece until any discoloration or marks are no longer visible.
• To clean with a jewelry cleaner, apply the jewelry cleaner to the jewelry piece and use a brush to clean the finer areas and any chains. Dry the jewelry piece with a microfiber cloth.
• Ensure that jewelry pieces are completely dry before storing.
